We’ve tried to limit ourselves to two songs from each period (with the exception of TBH+C because there is only one, so we’ve snuck in an extra AM era track instead). ![]() ![]() We’ve done our best here at Off the Bandwagon, to bring you some of our favourite b-sides from the band’s extensive back catalogue, we’ve even asked some of our friends and readers for their picks. Across their discography, the b-sides and other songs that never made it onto full-length albums, have provided joy, fun, experimentation and even indications as to possible new musical directions for the band. Until their most recent record, 2018’s Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino, the band have consistently provided B-sides to accompany all of their albums. However, Arctic Monkeys have remained one of the biggest proponents of the B-side which is ironic given that they are one of the band’s that pioneered the Internet as a vehicle for music distribution and consumption. ![]() Streaming services have proven to be the death knell for the CD and with it the idea of the single as an A-side with extra songs.
